Thank you for choosing to submit your paper with Al Edari. These guidelines guarantee that we have all the requirements for your manuscript to progress seamlessly through the blind review process, production, and publication. Before you start
  • All manuscripts submitted to Al Edari should be original and not previously published in another journal. If a considerable part of your paper has been previously published, the editor will desk reject your paper upon submission. Additionally, when you submit your manuscript to this journal, your paper should not be under consideration by any other journal.
  • It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that their work does not violate any existing copyright. In the case that the authors use third-party material to part portion of their manuscript, it is required that they obtain written permission from the copyright owner before submission.
  • Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical conduct and is not tolerated. For example, acknowledgments of sources and the use of appropriate citations are very important.
  • It is the corresponding author’s responsibility to ensure that the authorship is restricted to individuals who have contributed substantially to fund acquisition, project administration, validation, synthesis, writing the literature review, designing the methodology, and reporting the findings and implications. Any individual who hasn’t contributed to the paper or who has opted not to be affiliated with the paper should be excluded from the list of co-authors.
  • The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies to write the literature review, analyze the data, report the results, and write the implications is not permissible. However, using these technologies for copy-editing purposes to improve the language and the readability of the content is permissible.
Ethics in publication

Al Edari is committed to publishing original applied research in all management fields that appeal to a broad, general audience. When a manuscript is submitted to the journal, an Associate Editor, an expert in the area, assesses its fitness for the journal’s multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary readership. Articles that fall outside the journal’s scope or lack sufficient novelty are returned to the corresponding author without undergoing further processing.

Initial Editorial Review

Al Edari is dedicated to maintaining peer-review integrity and advocating the ultimate standards of blind review. After the editor assesses the paper’s quality and fitness for the journal, it will be assigned to two anonymous reviewers who are experts in the field.

  • Article structure: Depending on the paper classification, it should adhere to the following structure, whenever applicable:
    • Abstract, including keywords
    • Introduction
    • Literature review
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Implications
    • Conclusion
    • Future research
    • Acknowledgments
    • Appendices
  • Article length: articles submitted to this journal should be a maximum of 12,000 words in total, including abstract, tables, figures, footnotes, and references.
  • File format: articles should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, using Times New Roman (font size 12) with double-spacing.
  • Author details: author details should be added to the Editorial Manager in the same order you wish to show once published. This includes the author’s first and last names, institutional email addresses, and author affiliation.
  • Bibliography: A biography of 100-150 words and a professional photo of each author should be included in a separate Word file. All biographies should be combined in one file in the same order as outlined in the added author details.
  • Abstract: a structured abstract of a maximum of 250 words should be prepared according to the format below:
    • Purpose
    • Methodology
    • Findings
    • Originality
    • Practical implications
  • Title: The title should be informative and reflect the paper’s scope and focus.
  • Keywords: a maximum of six keywords should be included. These keywords should capture the principal topics of the paper.
  • Article classification: during the submission process, you must select the classification of the paper. This includes:
    • Original paper
    • Fieldwork
    • Research note
    • Case studies
    • Meta-analysis
    • Editorial (Viewpoint), and
    • Trend analysis
  • Headings: all headings must be concise, according to the following format:
    • The first level headings (for example, Introduction, Methods) should be in bold.
    • The second-level headings should be in bold italics.
    • The third-level headings should be in italics.
  • Figures and Tables should be embedded in text: figures and tables should be submitted in the main manuscript file and placed next to the relevant text in the manuscript. Please don’t submit them in a separate file or at the top or the bottom of the file.
  • Typographical and grammatical errors: The manuscript should be free from typographical and grammatical errors before submission.
  • Study instruments: All study instruments, such as questionnaire questions, should be submitted in a separate file.
  • Data Access: Authors might need to submit the raw data associated with a paper for editorial review and should be ready to grant public access to this data.
  • Disclosure and conflicts of interest: All submissions must disclose any relationships that could be perceived as posing a potential conflict of interest.
  • References: All references should be appropriately cited according to APA version 7 when preparing the references for your manuscript.
